about
Hi, I'm Mark Chavez, a web developer and self-taught programmer based in Miami. With a little over one year of experience at an agency, I specialize in front-end web development and have a strong understanding of back-end technologies. I thrive on building innovative websites and enjoy tackling creative projects that challenge and enhance my skills.
My programming journey began unexpectedly during my senior year at the University of Florida when I discovered a coding workshop amidst my business studies. Intrigued, I dedicated my spare time to coding, spending late nights debugging and building projects. This passion ignited a desire to refine my skills, as each line of code felt like a puzzle to solve. I found great satisfaction in bringing my ideas to life through technology, which prepared me for a career in tech.
Driven by a commitment to personal and professional growth, I made the bold decision to leave my full-time job to fully immerse myself in the world of web development.
Here are a few technologies I have been working with recently:

- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Express.js
